85 Tigers from seven programs garner academic accolades
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Mizzou Athletics placed 85 student-athletes on the 2017 Spring Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, announced Monday (June 26) by league commissioner, Greg Sankey.
The 2017 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll includes the sports of baseball, men's and women's golf, softball, tennis and track & field. It's based on grades from the 2016 Summer, 2016 Fall and 2017 Spring academic terms.
A total of 1,245 student-athletes from the SEC's 14 institutions were recognized on this year's list. The complete 2017 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll and its corresponding nomination criteria can be found here.
Mizzou was represented by all seven programs eligible in this year's Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll. Women's Track & Field paved the way with 30 total recognitions.
