Mizzou fans can donate to benefit Seats for Soldiers and Youth Experience programs
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Fans and supporters of the University of Missouri football program have new ways to not only help support their Tigers, but also to benefit deserving groups at the same time.
Mizzou Athletics is announcing a pair of new programs aimed at honoring and celebrating our military and their families, as well as deserving area youth.
"Seats for Soldiers" is an opportunity for Mizzou fans to celebrate and honor members of the military and their families during this season's annual Military Appreciation Game on Nov. 11 against Tennessee at Faurot Field/Memorial Stadium. Tiger fans can purchase tickets for the game for only $20 apiece which will be donated to active duty military and their families, as well as veterans and their families.
Similarly, a season-long giving program called the "Mizzou Youth Experience" has been developed to provide area youth the opportunity to experience a day to remember by taking a tour of the Mizzou campus and enjoying a game at Faurot Field. Fans can support these young future Tigers by purchasing tickets for this program for only $20 apiece that will be donated to area youth organizations throughout the entire 2017 season.
Ticket donations are a great way to not only help fill Memorial Stadium, but also to show support to deserving people. In addition, the donations will earn participants Tiger Scholarship Fund priority points, and could be tax deductible (consult your tax attorney with questions).
