COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou women's swimming and diving team travels to Indianapolis, Indiana, to compete at the 2017 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, March 15-18, at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI. Competition gets underway Wednesday evening with the 800 free relay. The remaining three days, swimming prelims begin at 10 a.m. ET (9 a.m. CT) and finals at 6 p.m. ET (5 p.m. CT). Diving prelims being at 12:30 p.m. ET (11:30 p.m. CT) on Thursday and Friday and 12:15 p.m. ET (11:15 p.m. CT) on Saturday.

- Mizzou qualified 12 individuals, including a program-record nine swimmers, to the NCAA Championships. The nine swimmers bested the old high of seven set in 2016
- The Three Tiger divers at the meet are also a program-best
- The Tigers are also eligible to swim all five relays
- Mizzou's NCAA qualifiers include Alexa Beckwith, Sharli Brady, Haley Hynes, Jennifer King, Nadine Laemmler, Madeline McKernan, Erin Metzger-Seymour, Lauren Reedy, Katharine Ross, Hannah Stevens, Ellie Suek and Kira Zubar
- Joining the individual qualifiers at the meet are Courtney Evensen, Maddie Gehrke, Rachel Hayden, and Victoria Trost, who are Mizzou's relay-only swimmers
- Stevens enters NCAAs seeded seventh in the 100 back following a runner-up finish in the event at SECs
- Brady, Laemmler, McKernan, Reedy, Ross and Stevens all enter the meet with previous All-America honors to their name. Laemmler, McKernan and Ross all own individual All-America first team honors, while Brady and Reedy are All-America honorable mention honorees
- Five Tigers, Beckwith, Hynes, King, Metzger-Seymour and Suek, earned their first NCAA Championships berths in 2017
- Head Coach Greg Rhodenbaugh is in his seventh season at the helm of the Tigers. Under his direction, the the women have posted their top four NCAA finishes ever, including a record 11th-place finish in 2016
- The Tigers finished sixth at last month's SEC Championships, highlighted by Reedy's 1-meter title
- In addition to Reedy's first-place finish, Missouri notched seven top-five individual finishes at SECs, including two from Reedy and two from Stevens
