
Cross to Represent England at Nike International Tournament

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou soccer freshman Zoe Cross will represent England at the upcoming Nike International Tournament (Florida), held Dec. 7-11 at Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Cross will play with England's U-20 National Team against Brazil, Finland and the United states.
England, which already qualified for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, opens friendly action against the United States on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 5:30 p.m. CT. The Young Lionesses then face Brazil on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. CT and close the Tournament against Finland on Monday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. All matches will be streamed live on ussoccer.com and YouTube.com/ussoccerdotcom.
Cross saw action in 19 games during her freshman season and started nine in the midfield for the Tigers in 2017. She earned assists in games against Northwestern and Albany, and played at least 60 minutes in five different contests (Oregon State, Nebraska, TCU, San Diego State and Kentucky).
A fixture with England's U-17, U-19 and now U-20 National Teams, Cross helped the Young Lionesses qualify for the U-20 Women's World Cup at the UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship elite and championship rounds.
