@MizzouSoftball Tabbed #17 in Preseason NFCA Coaches Poll

The Tigers open their 2017 campaign from Feb. 10-12 in Charleston, S.C.
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Softball earned the No. 17 selection in the 2017 preseason USA Today / National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division I Poll, announced Tuesday by the NFCA office.
The Tigers have placed in the preseason NFCA Division I Coaches Poll for 10 consecutive seasons (2008-17). Under head coach Ehren Earleywine, Mizzou has placed in the nation's top 25 polls each week for the past eight years (2009-16).
Mizzou possesses one of the toughest schedules in the nation this season, as 11 opponents on its 2017 schedule rank in the preseason NFCA Poll. The complete 2017 preseason NFCA Division I Coaches Poll can be found here.
The Tigers will be tested immediately in their 2017 season-opening tournament with two matchups against No. 14 James Madison at the Charleston Southern Tournament (Feb. 10-11).
