Saturday's meet against Missouri State is the Tigers' Senior Day
COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou men's and women's swimming and diving programs, ranked 15th and 13th nationally, respectively, conclude their dual meet seasons with a pair of home matchups this weekend. The Tigers host Drury on Friday, Jan. 20 at 5 p.m. and Missouri State on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m., both at the Mizzou Aquatics Center. Saturday marks Mizzou's Senior Day, with recognition prior to the meet against the Bears.
The teams have been idle since a two-day meet at Louisville two weeks ago. At the meet, senior Michael Chadwick claimed three titles during the meet, with wins in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 IM. On the women's side winners included redshirt senior Lauren Reedy (1-meter), senior Katharine Ross (100 IM) and junior Kira Zubar (1,000 free).
Sixteen different Tigers are ranked in the top 25 of their respective events coming into this weekend, including five who rank within the top 10.
