Mizzou makes its first trip to Death Valley
Mizzou Football makes its first trip to Death Valley for a game under the lights at LSU this Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network with Brent Musberger, Jesse Palmer and Kaylee Hartung on the call. Mizzou and LSU have met just once in history and that came in the 1978 Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tenn. Mizzou won that game, 20-15, under coach Warren Powers as his team finished 7-4 on the year and ranked No. 18 in the nation in the Associated Press poll. LSU is led, of course, by Heisman Trophy candidate RB Leonard Fournette, who leads the SEC and ranks 10th nationally with his average of 128.7 rushing yards per game. The Tigers opened the season with a 16-14 defeat to Wisconsin, but followed with consecutive home wins the next two weeks over Jacksonville State (W, 34-13) and Mississippi State (W, 23-20), prior to last week. Below is how to follow the game and be sure to watch the video above as both J'Mon Moore and Aarion Penton talk about the opportunity that Mizzou has to play in Death Valley this Saturday.
