
@MizzouVB Conducts First Official Practice of 2016 Season

Tigers will host Black & Gold Scrimmage on Friday, Aug. 19
COLUMBIA, Mo. - The 2016 Mizzou Volleyball season is officially underway, as head coach Wayne Kreklow and the Tigers completed their first official practice on Tuesday, Aug. 9. For the first two weeks, Coach Kreklow will typically conduct two practices a day with a morning practice (9 a.m. - 11 a.m.) and afternoon practice (2 p.m. - 5 p.m.) scheduled throughout Monday-Friday.
The Tigers are prepping for their 2016 season opener when they travel to Kennesaw, Ga., for the Kennesaw State Invitational. From Aug. 26-27, Mizzou is slated to face Kennesaw State, Pittsburgh and Liberty in a two-day span.
Tigers fans can catch their first glimpse of the 2016 squad at the Black and Gold Scrimmage on Friday, Aug. 19. First serve at the Hearnes Center is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. (CT). Before the scrimmage, young fans are encouraged to attend the Youth Clinic inside the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse. Activities begin at 4:45 p.m. (CT).
