Former Tiger Dominique Bouchard made her second semifinal of the Olympics on Thursday
RIO DE JANEIRO - Former Mizzou swimmer Dominique Bouchard made her second semifinal of the 2016 Olympic Games on Thursday (Aug. 11), as the Canadian earned a second swim in the 200m backstroke.
Bouchard swam a preliminary time of 2:08.87 on Thursday morning, which ranked her seventh heading into Thursday night semifinals. She will swim at approximately 8:44 p.m. CT live on NBC. The top eight finishers from semifinals advance to Friday night's 200m back final.
The Canadian also qualified for the 100m back semifinals on Sunday, where she ultimately finished 12th. Bouchard notched a 1:00.18 in prelims and a 1:00.54 in semis.
