Allen finished as individual runner-up at Web.com Intercollegiate
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Mizzou Women's Golf standout Emma Allen (Southampton, England) was named SEC Freshman of the Week on Tuesday. Allen was the runner-up in the Web.com Intercollegiate on April 4-5 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Over the three rounds, Allen shot 69-70-75 for a 214 total, finishing 2-under par. It was the best finish of her young career. She registered 14 birdies throughout the tournament, including six in the first round and five in the second.
Allen has recorded the second-lowest stroke average (72.89) in program history and the lowest ever by a Mizzou freshman.
The Tigers will compete in the SEC Tournament Friday – Sunday in Hoover, Alabama.
