@MizzouTennis Finishes Big Green Invitational with 23 Wins

All eight Tigers competing posted three or more wins during the tournament
COLUMBIA, MO. – Mizzou Tennis completed its fall schedule with its most successful tournament of the season at the Big Green Invitational in Hanover, N.H. Junior Amina Ismail (Maineville, Ohio) was perfect over the weekend, winning all six of her matches to lead the team to 23 overall match victories. Ismail's spotless 6-0 record at the Big Green Invite pushes her fall season record to a team best 15-6.
Mizzou's toughness shined throughout the weekend as the Tigers won 10 of 12 set tiebreakers. All eight Tigers won at least three matches.
Senior Kadi Fauble (Quincy, Ill.) was one of two Tigers to finish with an undefeated record in singles play at the Big Green Invite, the other being Ismail. Fauble won two singles matches over the weekend, using two set tiebreaker wins to claim the pair of victories.
Junior Brianna Lashway (Bradenton, Fla.) went 5-1 at the tournament. She edged Purdue's Nicole Robinson 6-4, 7-6 (8) on Sunday to push her fall singles record to a team-best 8-2.
As a team, Mizzou finished 8-4 in doubles play over the weekend, with two undefeated pairings, Lashway and Ismail, and senior Cassidy Spearman (Laguna Niguel, Calif.) and freshman Tate Schroeder (Centennial, Colo.).
