@MizzouSwimDive Faces Kentucky, Northwestern, SIU in Two-Day Quad Meet

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou men's and women's swimming and diving programs travel to Lexington, Ky., this weekend for a two-day quad dual against host Kentucky, Northwestern and Southern Illinois, Friday-Saturday, Nov. 4-5. Friday action begins at 4 p.m., while competition on Saturday starts at 9 a.m.
The Tiger women are ranked 17th in the latest TYR/CSCAA Division I poll, while the men are ranked 20th. Both Kentucky squads are ranked as well, with the Wildcat men coming in at No. 18 and the women at No. 21.
Missouri has been idle for three weeks. They last competed on Oct. 14 when the teams split a Southeastern Conference dual against Alabama. The women defeated the Crimson Tide, 167-132 and the men fell 187-114.
Seven different Tigers own times that rank in the top 25 of their respective events. For the men, senior Michael Chadwick ranks third in the 100 free, fourth in the 50 free and 16th in the 200 IM and senior Fabian Schwingenschlogl ranks fifth in the 100 breast and ninth in the 200 breast. Additionally, senior Andrew Sansoucie ranks 17th in the 100 fly, senior Carter Griffin 20th in the 200 back and freshman Nick Alexander is 23rd in the 400 IM. On the women's side, senior Katharine Ross ranks fifth in the 100 breast and junior Hannah Stevens is 22nd in the 100 back.
Following the quad dual, Mizzou returns to the pool on Thursday, Nov. 10, when the Tigers host Georgia at Noon at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.
