
#MIZNSD16: A Mizzou Fan’s Guide to Everything Related to National Signing Day

COLUMBIA, Mo. – With National Signing Day less than week away (Feb. 3), Mizzou Football is gearing up to sign a class of players who will be the next to be #MizzouMade. MUTigers.com will be the hub for everything #MIZNSD16 and below is a breakdown of what fans can expect to find on each of Mizzou's official social media platforms along with what to expect on MUTigers.com. Also below are the details behind Mizzou Network's live National Signing Day show, which is set to air from 8-10 a.m. on MUTigers.com.
- MUTigers.com/MIZNSD16: Bookmark that link. That webpage is where you can find Mizzou Network's live show along with up-to-date, breaking news of signees as their NLIs come in hot off the fax machine. Exclusive highlights of each signee along with pictures and biographical information will also be added to this page as soon as prospects officially sign with Mizzou. This will be your one-stop-shop for all of the information on Mizzou signees, even before the live show begins, so check this page early and often Wednesday morning.
MUTigers.com will also be your home for a complete recap of the entire signing class after the final NLI hits the fax machine. Highlights, biographical information and pictures will live on MUTigers.com all day, leading into Mizzou's recruiting reception that evening at the Columns Club at Memorial Stadium.
- #MIZNSD16 Live on Mizzou Network: For the fifth straight year, Mizzou Network will have a free LIVE Signing Day show, where fans can get their first look at the newest Tigers. Ben Arnet and Lauren Holman will host the proceedings live from the Mizzou Football offices in the Mizzou Athletics Training Complex from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. (CT). The show will not only be the first place to find out who the newest Tigers are, but it will also include interviews with head coach Barry Odom and Mizzou assistant coaches offering perspective on the newest members of the Mizzou family. In addition to video highlights of each Tiger signee, as well as features on various aspects of the Mizzou Football program, current Tiger players will stop by to offer the latest news on Mizzou Football.
- @MizzouFootball on Twitter: Mizzou Football's official Twitter (@MizzouFootball) will be another place for breaking news on signing day. This will be the first place fans can find official signees and their highlights as they will be tweeted out live as letters of intent hit the fax machine at the MATC. These tweets will also be instantly embedded on MUTigers.com/MIZNSD16 as they happen. @MizzouFootball will also give fans an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look into the coaching offices at MATC with video content that will not be available anywhere else. Watch the coaching staff celebrate as letters come in and see coaches' conversations with prospects as they happen on @MizzouFootball.
- Facebook (Mizzou Athletics/Mizzou Football): Mizzou Football's Facebook page will be similar to the Twitter page, announcing signees as they hit fax machine. Mizzou Athletics Facebook page will be offering updates every half hour, recapping the signees in groups. Facebook will be a great place for fans to engage with the signees and offer their congratulatory messages for each prospect.
- @MizzouFootball Instagram: Instagram will feature updates on the signing class every half hour, beginning that morning in graphics that will list each signee's vital information.
- MizzouMade Snapchat: Snapchat will unveil each signee as their NLI hits the fax machine and will also feature behind-the-scenes looks into Mizzou's coaching offices as faxes and phone calls come in.
Be sure to check each platform all day as each will have exclusive content pertaining to #MIZNSD16. Mizzou will hold its annual signing day press conference at 4:30 p.m. at the Columns Club as Barry Odom will talk about the entire signing class before letting each position coach talk about their individual signees. Odom's press conference will be streamed on MUTigers.com as well.
