Clark Thomas Claims Second Consecutive SEC Male Diver of the Week Honor

Senior Clark Thomas was named the SEC Male Diver of the Week for the second straight week
COLUMBIA, Mo. –Senior Clark Thomas (Olathe, Kan.) of the No. 13 Mizzou men's swimming and diving team claimed Southeastern Conference Male Diver of the Week honors for the second consecutive week, the league announced on Tuesday (Jan. 26).
Thomas has now claimed SEC Male Diver of the Week accolades six times in his career, including an SEC-best three times this season.
The senior won all four events he entered in Mizzou's two dual meet wins over Drury and Missouri State last weekend. He swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions at Drury with six-round scores of 382.15 and 378.15, respectively. Less than a day later, Thomas posted those exact scores in again place first on both springboards at Missouri State.
On the season, Thomas has won nine event titles, including six on 1-meter and three on 3-meter. Over his four-year career, he has accumulated 30 wins and claimed two All-America honorable mention honors as a sophomore in 2014.
