Tee times begin with an 8 a.m. CT shotgun start for the first and second rounds on Monday while tournament will finish with an 8:30 a.m. CT start on Tuesday.
"The Johnie Imes is such a special event for our team and our members at The Club at Old Hawthorne," head coach Stephanie Priesmeyer said. "Last year, we won the event for the first time since 2007 and set a new tournament record by shooting 18-under par. We will have 18 teams coming to town and are excited about the opportunity to defend the title on our home course again. Johnie Imes passed away in 2012, and she was such an integral part in helping establish a foundation for fundraising the women's golf program at Mizzou. We named the event after her in 2007 and she was able to enjoy five events with us before she passed away. Her daughter, Pam Adkison, attends The Johnie every year in honor of her mother."
The field includes Akron, Arkansas State, Bradley, Coastal Carolina, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida International, Illinois State, Iowa, Kansas State, Mercer, Middle Tennessee, Missouri State, Rutgers, University of Arkansas- Little Rock, University of Missouri- Kansas City, University of South Florida and Wichita State.
Mizzou's competing lineup includes Michelle Butler (Dunedin, Fla.), Emma Allen (Southampton, England), Clara Young (North Berwick, Scotland), Jessica Meek (Carnoustie, Scotland) and Haelena Schwemmer (O'Fallon, Mo.).
The Tigers enter tournament with confidence after a victory at Furman's Lady Paladin Invitational last week. Mizzou won with an overall score of 871 (+7). Butler and Meek tied for runner-up individually by shooting 215 (-1). Both last year and in 2007, Mizzou won the Johnie Imes on home turf.
