Missouri at Vanderbilt
Game Notes
Senior guard Keith Shamburger started his 120th game on Saturday in Missouri's 76-53 loss at Vanderbilt. Shamburger boasts more career starts than any player in the SEC.
Following Saturday's game, the Tigers drop to 7-20 overall and 1-13 in conference play.
Mizzou and Vanderbilt are now 4-5 in series history, 2-2 with the Tigers as members of the SEC.
Saturday's game marked the 11th time this season that Namon Wright has scored more than five points in a game. He knocked down all six of his points prior to the halftime break.
Keith Shamburger dished eight assists on Saturday, marking the eighth time this season he has tallied five or more assists in a game. He boasts a career-best of 12, which is a mark he hit while at San Jose State.
Freshman Montaque Gill-Caesar knocked down 11 points against the Commodores, marking his 11th double-figure scoring game this season.
As a team the Tigers shot 80-percent from the charity stripe, marking just the fourth time this season Mizzou has made 80-percent or more of its foul shots.
Mizzou's seven turnovers on the day stand as a season-low, a much different look than the 20 turnovers the Tigers racked up just a few days ago at Arkansas. The Tigers forced nine Commodore turnovers, scoring 13 points off of those turnovers.
