-Following Saturday's loss, the Tigers now own a 16-11 record on Valentine's day in program history.
-Saturday's game marked the first career start for D'Angelo Allen. The freshman has appeared in all 24 of Mizzou's games this season, averaging more than 16 minutes on the court per game. Allen finished the game with seven rebounds, good for a season and career-high number.
-Today's start continues the streak for senior Keith Shamburger who earned his 118th career start, the most for any player in the Southeastern Conference.
-Senior Ryan Rosburg knocked down six field goals, good for a new career-best. His 12 points on the night surpassed his previous season-high of nine.
-Mizzou has seen incredible production from its underclassmen on the floor this season. Four of the young Tigers saw more than 22 minutes on the court on Saturday.
- Johnathan Williams, III knocked down a career-high 27 points on the night, marking the most points scored by a Tiger in a game this season. Not only that, but his three triples today mark a career-best for the sophomore. Mizzou's last player to score more than 25 points in a game was Jabari Brown, who knocked down 30 points against Davidson on March 18, 2014.
-With 27 points in the game, Johnathan Williams, III has now eclipsed 10 points in 17 games this season. He's recorded 15 or more points in 10 of those games, including a streak of eight 15+ point games from Dec. 2-Jan. 8.
-Mizzou held Mississippi State to just five offensive rebounds, a season-low number for the Tigers. Previously, Mizzou allowed Alabama just five offensive boards as well.
-Prior to today's game, Mississippi State's Fred Thomas was leading the team with an average of 10.3 points per game, Mizzou held him to just three points on Saturday.
