@MizzouSwimDive Heads to Tennessee for Three-Day Tennessee Invite

The Tigers compete at the Tennessee Invite Nov. 20-22
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Mizzou men's and women's swimming and diving teams travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, this weekend for the three-day Tennessee Invite at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center. The meet runs Friday, Nov. 20-Sunday, Nov. 22, with preliminary action at 10 a.m. ET each morning and finals at 6 p.m. ET Friday and Saturday and 4:30 p.m. ET on Sunday. Morning preliminary sessions will compete in Olympic standard long course meters, while evening finals will be competed in NCAA short course yards.
In addition to host Tennessee, Mizzou will take on Virginia Tech and West Virginia, as well as UMass in the diving well only.
The Mizzou men, ranked No. 11 in the latest CSCAA/TYR Top 25, enter the meet with a 3-1 dual meet record, including a 1-1 mark in Southeastern Conference action. The Tiger women are ranked No. 16 nationally, tied with Tennessee, and own marks of 2-1 and 1-1, respectively.
In the national rankings, junior Michael Chadwick boasts the country's fastest 100 free time, while also ranking seventh in the 50 free and 25th in the 200 free. Also ranked on the men's side are juniors Fabian Schwingenschlogl (seventh in the 100 breast and 15th in the 200 breast) and Eddie Mapel (23rd in the 100 breast).
Five different Tiger women find themselves in the top 25 in their respective events. Senior Abby Duncan ranks second in the 200 breast, third in the 100 breast and 20th in the 200 IM, while junior Katharine Ross ranks second in the 100 breast, fourth in the 200 breast and 22nd in the 200 IM. Sophomore Sharli Brady ranks third in the 200 fly, 14th in the 400 IM and 18th in the 500 free. Also ranked are junior Nadine Laemmler (10th in the 400 IM, 11th in the 100 back and 21st in the 200 back) and sophomore Hannah Stevens (11th in the 100 back and 20th in the 200 back).
