Mizzou Head Coach Kim Anderson
Opening Statement:
"The game, not sure I have words to describe the game. I thought that Ole Miss came out early and kind of punched us--I'm saying that in a positive way--they came out and got after us. We didn't respond well to the zone. We missed a lot of open shots early that I thought we had and then it kind of snowballed. We were able to hang around. I a disappointed in the effort, and that's probably one of the few times I've said that this year. I'm disappointed in how we responded when they got after us."

On Keanau's two quick fouls:
"He started off really well. He made two buckets and then he made two dumb fouls. He has a tendency to do that. It's aggression--he's playing hard. We just have to be smarter. We were smart the whole game. We expended a lot of energy last Saturday and of course Thursday was a real emotional, energy packed crowd game, and we didn't respond today to a good crowd. We just didn't respond. If you look at this and we were three for ten from the free-throw line, you can kind of read into it. I thought at half time we made little bit of a push. I thought we had a chance. We couldn't get it back down much under nine. We weren't catching; balls were flying off of our hands. If I were sitting in your shoes, I would say that no, we weren't ready to play. Although I thought early on we had some good looks, but we just didn't make them and then we started pushing."

On their zone:
"They have a big guy out there, which causes a little bit of problems. I thought where we really struggled was that we got shots early, but we didn't make them. Then guys got tentative, and then when we finally started throwing the ball and getting it to the middle of the floor, we got some buckets - J-3 got some buckets - we got some potential buckets, but we didn't make them. With their zone, the 1-3-1, you have to get a guy in the corner, the guy in the middle, two guys out front, the guy in the middle, two guys in the corner, and you have to be able to handle the ball and make basketball plays. We couldn't handle that."

On his statement about how the team never quits fighting:
"I think for us to win, we have to have energy, passion, and toughness. I thought after we got going today, I think Ole Miss was tougher than we are, and that's disappointing as a coach, but you have to go out and coach them next week. I really feel like I sit in here with you guys and say the same thing, and I apologize if I do, but I have young guys. I have freshmen. You guys can do the math. You can look at how some of the freshmen played, and they played like freshmen today. Some days they play like juniors and seniors. I'm not putting it on them; I'm just saying, we should be more mature now than we demonstrated today. We have demonstrated some maturity at times, but today didn't."

Mizzou Sophomore F Johnathan Williams III
On the difference between this game and the game against Kentucky:
"The zone made a big difference. It was difficult to keep them off the offensive glass because they went up every single time."

On how hard it is to stay positive after seven losses in a row:
"It's tough but you just have to forget about it and work hard. We have to keep looking up; we can't put our heads down. I know my teammates feel the same way."

On how good of a player Stefan Moody is:
"He's a point guard that can create shots for himself. He came around off of a lot of picks and shot the ball very well. He's very explosive and very quick."

Ole Miss Head Coach Andy Kennedy
On Kennedy's emotions after winning a conference game:
"I thought we really locked in defensively. Obviously there is a transition and I am a big fan of Kim Anderson, not only as a coach but as a man. You have the right man running your program. From a personnel standpoint, our focus was they had a shooters chance because they have guys that can make shots. We had to make sure we were extended and run them off the three- point line. I think the second half we settled into a groove offensively. I thought the first half, Missouri took us out on a few things and we settled. Although we were up by 12, I didn't like our flow at all. The second half was much better."

On what kept the team going for the win:
"For us, we have been pretty good battling collectively off the glass, tonight was the same. Martavious Newby a 6'3" power forward, unfortunately I cant play him at power forward but that is what he is. He gets nine big ones for us; collectively the guys were very active on the glass. We got to be physical, take a physical approach. I didn't think our point guard play was great but every other position contributed."

On Stefan Moody contributing to the energizing of the team:
"He is very, very explosive off the dribble. We just want to keep him in attack mode and try to play down hill. We do the same for Jarvis (Summers) we try to run some sequences to get him to his right hand so he can play down hill. Try to draw some help and try to make a good decision; I think for the most part he did that."

Ole Miss Junior G Stefan Moody
On his play vs. Mizzou:
"I tried not to force anything. I usually come out and try to force tough shots but I came out a lot more calm and I went off of that."

On his impressions of his putback dunk:
"That's not for me to decide. I was watching it as I came over here on my phone. I couldn't tell what it looked like when I was doing it but it felt great."
