Postgame Notes
Today's game marked Mizzou's fourth time competing against a ranked opponent in a six-game span.
The Tigers first four baskets were three-pointers, each made by a different Tiger (Lindsey Cunningham, Morgan Eye, Sierra Michaelis, and Maddie Stock).
Michaelis scored 16 points in Sunday's game against Kentucky, her third consecutive game scoring double-figures, as well as her eight double-figure scoring game of the season.
The Tigers scored nine three-pointers in the first half, a new season high for the team. They previously had made seven in the home opener against Western Illinois. (Nov. 14)
The Tigers held Kentucky to just one basket in the final 2:38 of the first half.
For the first time this season, Mizzou had three players, Stock, Eye, and Michaelis, make three three-pointers in a single game.
Eye scored 13 points in today's game bringing her total points scored this season over the 200-point mark. (206 points)
Jordan Frericks posted her sixth double-double of the season today with 10 points and 13 rebounds. The 13 boards are the most rebounds for Frericks since the game against Bradley. (Dec. 6)
Michaelis broke her career high in assists with six. She dished out four assists in three previous games with her last against UT-Martin. (Dec. 22)
Mizzou scored a total of 13 three-pointers in today's game. This is the most three-pointers Kentucky has allowed in a single game this season.
