Mizzou Team Notes at Texas A&M (1/21/15)
- The first half at Texas A&M saw Mizzou's second-most successful field goal shooting (52.2 percent) in a first half this season behind Elon (59.1 percent on Dec. 11).
- The Tiger sophomore duo of Clark and Williams hit a combined 8-of-12 field goals in the first half, matching Texas A&M's successful first half makes (8-of-24).
- Mizzou was marred in the second half by unsuccessful shooting (8-of-24, 33.3%) and shots continuing to fall for Texas A&M (12-of-23, 52.4 percent).
Sophomore guard Wes Clark
- Led the Tigers with his 12 first half points, a season and career best, hitting well from the field (5-of-6 FG, 2-of-3 3PT).
- Finished game with a career-best 18 points, hitting 7-of-11 FG and 4-of-6 three-pointers.
- Dished six assists in the game, as well, marking the fourth game this season with at least five assists.
- Recorded five steals, the second-most of his career after six vs. UMKC (Nov. 14).
Senior forward Keanau Post
- Earned his first start of the 2014-15 season and fourth of his two-year career at Mizzou.
- Blocked three shots to match his career-best and set a new season-high.
Freshman guard Montaque Gill-Caesar
- Marked his continual return from injury (back vs. Illinois, Dec. 20) with his first points scored since Mizzou's game vs. Oklahoma State (Dec. 30).
- Scored eight points (3-of-8 FG, 1-of-3 3PT, 1-of-2 FT) in 19 minutes of action.
