Post Game Notes -The Tigers have plenty of experience playing top-ranked teams, but the Tigers haven't faced a No. 1-ranked opponent since the 2011-12 season. No. 1 Baylor came to Mizzou Arena on Feb. 2, 2012 taking home a win over the Tigers.
-Mizzou held No. 1 South Carolina to 60 points, the Gamecocks' second lowest scoring performance of the season behind a 51-point outing vs. Duke. (Dec. 7)
-In 17 games this season, the Tigers have allowed just two teams to shoot better than 40-percent in a game. In fact, the Tigers have limited opponents to less than 37-percent shooting in 14 of 18 games, winning 11 of those 14 contests. Mizzou has not allowed an opponent to shoot better than 40-percent in nine consecutive games with the high-water mark in that span coming from Georgia, which shot 37.1-percent.
-Mizzou once again held a team to 60 points or fewer this season. The Tiger defense has had 12 games in which they held their opponents to 60 points or fewer, winning nine of those 12 contests.
-Missouri `s defense held South Carolina to its second-lowest first half points total after scoring only 25 points in the first half.
-Sophomore guard Sierra Michaelis poured in a career high 22 points on 8 for 15 field shooting, besting her previous career-high of 21 points at Wake Forest (Dec. 20) earlier this season.
-Senior guard Morgan Eye recorded three steals, a season-best, which surpasses two games of two steals this season (last vs. Missouri State on Dec. 30).
-Sophomore guard Lindsey Cunningham played a career-high 36 minutes, scoring three points on 1-of-2 field goals and dishing out three assists, one away from her season-best of four (Western Illinois, Nov. 15).
-Senior guard Morgan Eye continues to chase the NCAA record for career three-point attempts made set at 392. Morgan now has just 60 three-pointers left to make this season to tie that record.
