Tigers Fall 4-0 at No. 9 Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. - The Mizzou tennis team suffered a 4-0 loss to No. 9 Georgia on Sunday, March 30 at the Dan McGill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga. The match, part of the new USTA College MatchDay series, was broadcast live on ESPN3. Singles were played first with doubles to be played after only if necessary.
The loss dropped the Tigers to 6-17 overall and 0-9 in Southeastern Conference play, while the Bulldogs improved to 15-3 and 8-1.
The Tigers travel to Alabama next weekend for two SEC matches. The squad faces Auburn on Friday, April 4 at 5 p.m., before a 1 p.m. clash against Auburn on Sunday, April 6.
