Mizzou Postgame Notes
Mizzou's 2013-14 campaign came to a close tonight. The Tigers finished with a record of 23-12. Mizzou has won at least 23 games each year since 2009.
This was the first matchup between Mizzou and Southern Mississippi.
Jabari Brown has reached double-digit scoring in 34-of-35 games this season. Brown finished with 13 points and hits 2-of-3 shots from three-point range.
Johnathan Williams III had all four of Mizzou's blocks today. This is the third time Williams has reached the four-block mark. His season and career high in blocks is five, which happened in the final regular-season home game vs. Texas A&M. Williams finished the year with 57 total blocked shots, No. 5 in single-season history at Mizzou.
With his 22 points tonight, Earnest Ross posted a double-digit scoring effort in 27-of-35 games this season. Ross also eclipsed the 20-point mark for the seventh time this season. Ross needed just nine shots.
Mizzou has had at least one player score 20 (or more) points in 27-of-35 games this season.
The Tigers have a total of 40 20-point games this season, all coming from Brown (19), junior Jordan Clarkson (14) and senior Earnest Ross (7). The 40 20-point are the third highest total in school history.
