The game marked only the second time the Mizzou basketball team played at the Hearnes Center since the program moved to Mizzou Arena in 2004-05.
Mizzou started Jakeenan Gant, Ryan Rosburg, Montaque Gill-Caesar, Keith Shamburger and Wes Clark against William Jewell.
Mizzou held William Jewell to 17.3 percent (9-52) shooting from the field.
The Tigers outrebounded the Cardinals 59-31.
Missouri shot 53.6 percent (15-28) from the floor in the second half.
Wes Clark led three Tigers in double figures with 14 points. He added seven rebounds as well.
Also reaching double figures for Missouri was Ryan Rosburg (13) and Tremaine Isabell (10).
Rosburg also led the Tigers with eight rebounds, all of which came in the opening 20 minutes.
Eight different Tigers grabbed at least five rebounds in the game: Rosburg (eight), D'Angelo Allen (seven), Wes Clark (seven), Deuce Bello (six), Jakeenan Gant (six), Montaque Gill-Caesar (five), Keith Shamburger (five) and Namon Wright (five).
Shamburger dished out a team best four assists in the game.
