Postgame Notes
- After scoring no points in just 20 minutes of action on her last two games combined, Liene Priede exploded for a career-high 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting on Friday. The double-digit scoring game is just her third of the season and first since scoring 14 against Mississippi State on Feb. 10.
- Priede hit a season-high four 3-pointers in the game, doing so on 4-of-6 shooting. She also dished four times while committing just one turnover with three boards.
- Senior forward Liz Smith tallied her ninth double-figure scoring game as she scored 15 points in the game. Smith has now scored in double-digits in four of her last six games and is averaging 10.7 points per game in that span.
- Kyley Simmons ripped four steals on the day, marking the ninth time that she finished a game this season with more than one steal. The total matches her career-best total of four against Oklahoma State in in 2012.
- Mizzou shot better from the field, from three and had more assists than LSU, but the big stat of the game was that Mizzou turned the ball over 21 times, resulting in 29 LSU points. LSU also went to the line 23 times in the win, connecting on 19 of those shots from the charity stripe.
- Bri Kulas scored in double-figures for the third time in five games with 17 points in the game. She continued her SEC-leading free throw percentage this season by connecting on 3-of-3 from the line as well.
- Mizzou assisted on 18 of 28 field goals in the game as they continue to assist on 65-percent of their field goals this season, an SEC-best.
- Mizzou buried 10 3-pointers on Friday afternoon, marking the first time since the Tigers played Tennessee on Feb. 3 when the hit 11.
