Post Game Notes
- The win for the Tigers is their 15th straight home win. Mizzou is nearly unblemished at home since the end of the 2007-08 campaign, winning 49 of its last 51 home games.
-The winning streak equals the eighth longest home winning streak in school history, tying 14-game runs in 1976-77, 1995-96 and 2002-03.
- Mizzou has now won five straight home games against the Sooners. Missouri hasn't lost at home to Oklahoma since Feb. 19, 2001.
- Missouri improved to a 17-0 record when leading at the half. The Tigers had a six-point lead over the Sooners heading into the second half.
- With Oklahoma hanging on to an early 18-11 lead in the first half, Missouri began a 14-0 run spanning from 12:20 to 5:53 to go up on the Sooners 25-18. Missouri would not relinquish that lead the rest of the game.
- Michael Dixon led the team with 16 points, which he scored all of his baskets in the second half. Ricardo Ratliffe added 13 points and up Safford contributed 11.
- Matt Pressey finished with five assists, a new career high. Missouri assisted on 17 of its 30 baskets.
-The Tigers committed only seven turnovers, only one more than the team's season low of six, while forcing 18 turnovers for Oklahoma. Missouri grabbed nine steals and 24 points off the Sooners' turnovers.
- Laurence Bowers leads the team in dunks and improved his total to 15 on the season, with two slams against the Sooners. Marcus Denmon and Ratliffe also elevated their season totals to ten and six, respectively.
- The series between Missouri and Oklahoma now sits at 112-95 with Oklahoma leading.
- Mizzou's bench was dominant once again, as the Tiger reserves outscored Oklahoma's subs by a whopping 42-16 margin today.
- Fastbreak points were also decidedly in Mizzou's favor, as the Tigers held a 14-0 edge in that category.
