
Black Team Defeats Gold in Intersquad Matchup

Columbia, Mo. - Mizzou Swimming and Diving hosted its annual Black & Gold Intersquad Practice Meet on Friday in preparation for its first meet of the season. The intersquad practice divided Mizzou's men and women into Black and Gold teams, giving them friendly competition before tomorrow's Show-Me Showdown.
The men's Black Team defeated the Gold, 897.00 to 853.00 points. In a tight finish, the women's black team was also victorious, finishing on top with a score of 883.50 to the Gold Team's 876.50
Missouri will host William Jewell College, Lindenwood University, Drury University, Missouri S&T, Washington University in St. Louis, and Missouri State University in their first meet of the season. Admission is free, and Mizzou fans are encouraged to come out and see the Tigers in action.
