- Today's attendance of 71,004 is the first sellout since last season's Homecoming game vs. Oklahoma and ties for the 11th largest crowd in school history. It also marked the fourth time during the Pinkel era that Memorial Stadium has welcomed more than 70,000 fans for a game.
- Henry Josey's 43-yard opening kickoff return was the longest of the season for the Tigers.
- The Tigers called eight straight running plays on the opening drive, gaining 50 yards to reach the end zone. On the second drive, Michael Egnew's 13-yard first down catch ended a streak of ten-straight running plays before attempting a pass.
- For the third time in the last four games, Missouri scored a touchdown on the opening drive.
- Missouri's opening touchdown at the 12:03 mark was the quickest score to start a game this season. Previously, the mark had been 11:32 against Western Illinois.
- Senior tight end Michael Egnew's 39-yard touchdown catch was the longest reception of his career.
- Missouri scored touchdowns in all three first quarter possessions for the second time this season (9/17 vs. Western Illinois).
- Missouri set a new season high with touchdowns in their first four possessions with junior TB Kendial Lawrence's two-yard touchdown run. Lawrence's touchdown was his first of the season and fifth of his career.
- LB Luke Lambert's second fumble recovery of the game eclipsed his career total of one recovery in 43 games played.
- DL Dominique Hamilton recorded his first sack of the season.
- TB Henry Josey eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark for the third time this season and notched his sixth touchdown of the year. Josey came into the game leading the Big 12 in rushing with 117.6 yards per game. After his 131-yard effort today, the sophomore tailback increased his average to 121 yards per game.
- QB James Franklin's second one-yard touchdown run marked the second time this season the sophomore quarterback has rushed for two scores in one game (9/24 vs. Oklahoma).
- DE Brad Madison's grabbed his first career interception on the first play of the fourth quarter.
- WR Wes Kemp's fourth quarter touchdown catch equaled his career high for touchdown receptions in a season (three).
- WR L'Damian Washington set a career high in reception yards with two catches for 70 yards.
- All six of Michael Egnew's catches went for first downs. His 105 yards receiving is a season high.
- James Franklin's five total touchdowns (three passing, two rushing) was the most scores in a single game in his career. The sophomore QB also passed for 200+ yards for the fifth consecutive game.
- The Tigers did not commit a single penalty in the game. This was the first time Missouri went the entire game without committing a penalty since 12/31/09 against Navy.
- Missouri's 52 points is the most in a single game against a Big 12 opponent since also scoring 52 against Iowa State on 11/15/08. The 35-point spread was their largest margin of victory against a Big 12 team since beating Colorado 58-0 on 10/25/08.
- Missouri's three forced turnovers (two fumble recoveries and an interception) was the most of the season.
- The Tigers improved to 58-37-5 all-time on Homecoming (61.1%) and 61-34-9 against Iowa State (64%).
- The win was the tenth straight for the Tigers at Faurot Field, equaling the second longest streak in school history (11/25/06-10/11/09).
