AMES, Iowa (AP)--DeMarre Carroll scored a career-high 31 points and Missouri beat Iowa State 82-68 Saturday to clinch its first 20-win season in six years.
Kim English added 16 for the Tigers (20-4, 7-2 Big 12), who shot 57 percent from the field and 9-of-16 from 3-point range in picking up their seventh win in eight games.
The Cyclones never led, but they got as close as 46-40 early in the second half. Missouri answered with a 15-4 run to go ahead 61-44 with just over 11 minutes left.
Craig Brackins had 16 points to lead five players in double figures for Iowa State (12-11, 1-7). The Cyclones have lost six in a row and three straight at home to Big 12 opponents for the first time since 2006.
