COLUMBIA, Mo-- - After three straight days of competition the Missouri Swimming and Diving team fell to the Texas A&M Aggies 171-129, and completed the day with seven first place finishes. The team was lead by Lisa Nathanson and Kim Jasmer who combined had four first place finishes and two second.
"Obviously going into a meet against a top 10 team in the country, we knew we would have some challenges, but I'm very pleased with the way the team competed today," Tiger coach Brian Hoffer said. "We won some events, and after the schedule the last three days, I couldn't be happier with the way the team handled the fatigue of swimming three straight days."
Jasmer was the first Tiger to earn a first place finish on the day, clocking in at 1:49.62 just ahead of Texas A&M's Kristen Heiss in the 200-yard freestyle.

Freshman Jordan Morcom dove her way to a first place finish in the three-meter diving event. Morcom also finished second in the one-meter dive today.
"Coming into this meet, we gained a lot of experience over the last three day, which is something you want to see," diving coach Jamie Sweeney said. " We ended up beating out A&M in diving points, and was especially pleased with the win of the 3-meter dive."
In the first event of the day against the Aggies, the women's 200-yard medley Relay team of Nathanson, Cunningham, Jasmer and Morgan McCleery finished second, clocking in at 1:43.88.
