Location: Mizzou Arena - Columbia, MO

Today's Game
The game was one of the Tigers closest contests from wire to wire in 2008. The game, which features two teams with identical Big 12 records, featured 13 ties and seven lead changes.
The Tigers, who have struggled at times this season on the glass, pulled down 12 offensive rebounds, the most since they won at Colorado on Jan. 26th.
Tiger forward Leo Lyons earned his first start in ten games today. Lyons had come off in the bench since he started in a loss at Iowa State. The move paid off for head coach Mike Anderson as Lyons corralled a DeMarre Carroll miss and scored the first Tiger points on the evening.
Lyons responded well in his first start in 10 games, scoring six points on 3-3 shooting, grabbing four rebounds and registering a block, all before the first media timeout. Lyons finished the first half leading the Tigers in four statistical categories, 14 points, nine rebounds, two blocks and shot 6-7 from the field.
With 18 rebounds on the evening, Lyons rebound total was the most since Arthur Johnson topped grabbed 18 against Marquette in 2006. Johnson needed five extra minutes to eclipse that amount. Lyons also corralled eight of the Tigers 12 offensive rebounds and registered his third double-double of the season.
Lyons finished the game with a career best 27 points, 18 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and shot 12-13 from the field in 35 minutes of playing time.
Tiger senior Jason Horton finished the game with six assists, giving him 395 for his career, inching him ever so close to Lee Coward, who finished with 431. Horton also finished with four steals, tying his season high and coming within one of his career best mark.
Matt Lawrence hit three of his first five three-pointers. The three long range buckets gives him the most three-pointers at a home game since Dec. 15 against McNeese St.
Tiger guard JT Tiller finished the game with 11 points, more than he had in each of the Tigers previous two games. His point output was the highest since he posted 14 against at Nebraska. It is also the fifth time in eight games that he has been in double figures. He had only been in double figures in four games prior to the eight game stretch.
Tiger guard Keon Lawrence's play against the Big 12 South has been like the south's weather, sizzling. Lawrence tallied 13 points on the evening, giving him nine straight games against Big 12 South opponents in which he has reached double figures.
