COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -Senior forward DeMarre Carroll had 14 points and seven rebounds as Missouri got past a slow offensive start to beat the Stetson Hatters 78-44 on Saturday night.
Matt Lawrence added 12 points, while sophomore forward Justin Safford also had double figures with a career-high 10 points.
Leo Lyons had a season-low five points on 2-for-7 shooting from the field with six rebounds.
The Missouri offense was borderline anemic in the first half, shooting just 31 percent.
Stetson (5-4) held Missouri to a season-low 27 points in the first half. But the Tigers (9-1) did manage to gain the lead seven minutes into the game and forced 12 turnovers.
Stetson scored just 11 points over the final 13:30 of the first half.
Missouri was strong in the second half, scoring 51 points on 70 percent shooting.
A.J. Smith led Stetson with 10 points.
