Mike Anderson is the first first-year head coach to start 6-0 since Craig Ruby did it 68 years ago in 1920-21.
Mike Anderson's 6-0 record is the first time in his NCAA coaching career where he won his first six games, his previous best was in the 2004-2005 season when he started 4-0.
