
Tigers Take 10-2 Win Over SEMO

COLUMBIA, Mo. - - The No. 13 Mizzou Baseball team won its fourth straight game and rebounded from its loss to Southeast Missouri State last week with a 10-2 win over SEMO on Wednesday night at Taylor Stadium.
Missouri has won 19 of their last 21 games and improves to 27-6 on the season.
Mizzou put the first runs on the board in the bottom of the second, with a six-run inning, highlighted by a three-RBI triple by junior James Boone. He increased his Big 12 leading RBI total to 57 on the season.
The Tigers would add a run in the sixth and three more in the bottom of the seventh inning.
It was the 18th time this year that Mizzou had scored at least 10 runs in a game.
Junior Trevor Helms was 2-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored and junior Zane Taylor added three RBI, going 1-for-2 and walking three times.
Redshirt freshman Dan Pietroburgo also added two hits, finishing 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored.
The Tigers will take its Big 12 leading 8-1 conference record to Stillwater, Okla. this weekend for three-game series with Oklahoma State. Game one of the series is set for 7 p.m. on Friday.
