Missouri Head Coach Quin Snyder On tonight: "I don't think our team right now is competing on a level that they need to compete on. We've practiced hard; we're just not getting that to carry over into the game. "
On playing: "We've been inconsistent all year, in terms of we play one half, and we play poorly in another half. It's a question of our concentration about the things that are important to win, not about ourselves, but about our team. What am I doing to help my team win? That's competing as a group, and that's something we're not doing right now."
"I think we need a gut check. We need to look, everybody needs to look inside themselves, including our staff, to see what we can do to get things right. We've got a long year ahead of us."
"Our team just needs to step up a level, and it's got to happen. It's got to happen fast."
On stepping up: "I think our whole senior class needs to step up. We've talked about these guys being our leaders, this is their last year, and there's got to be some urgency from them. This is over in two months. We've had eight games already, and when you look back at these eight games and ask yourself 'did I give everything I could give to my team?' that's where our focus needs to be."
On his responsibility: "I've tried to get across my disappointment on how we played. I'm as responsible as them. I'm not hiding behind my players. I'm their leader, and I've got to find some guys that will compete and compete for 40 minutes."
