Missouri Ends Regular Season With Victory

Mizzou volleyball closed out the regular season with a 3-1 (25-30, 30-28, 30-28, 30-25) win over Baylor at the Hearnes Center on Saturday. The Tigers finish the regular season with a 19-10 record and a 12-8 Big 12 Conference mark.
After a slopping first game, Mizzou was able to rebound and take the next three games for the four-game victory.
The Tigers continued their strong service game as they recorded 11 aces on Saturday, led by Nicole Wilson who had five. Lindsey Hunter and Shen Danru each and a pair of aces against Baylor.
Shen Danru led MU as she tied a career high with 24 kills. Jessica Vander Kooi added 12 kills for the Tigers. Juliana Godoi, who was honored as part of senior night prior to the match, and Sara Parks led Mizzou with 14 digs each.
The Tigers will find out if they have been selected to their fourth straight NCAA Tournament on Sunday. The selections for the tournament will be announced at 7 p.m. on ESPNEWS. Information on the Tigers selection will be on www.mutigers.com by 9 p.m. on Sunday.
