Balance: Wednesday's contest marked the second time this season that Missouri placed five players in double figures. Kerensa Barr led the way with 15 points, Natalie Bright 11 points while Melanie Fisher, Tracy Lozier and Evan Unrau each added 10 points. The Tigers first accomplished the feat in the 102-47 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Dec. 20, 2001.
Not a good streak: The loss to Alabama marks the Tigers' third-straight loss at home. Missouri's record for consecutive home losses is four, set in the 1996-97 season when the Tigers lost in the championship game of the Mid-America Classic to Bulter (Dec. 7, 1996), to Arkansas State (Dec. 15), to Oklahoma State (Jan. 11) and to Nebraska (Jan. 18).
Last time ...: The last time Missouri suffered a one-point loss was an 89-88 overtime setback to Arkansas on March 17, 2000, in the WNIT's second round.
A "Bright" look: Natalie Bright's time in a Missouri uniform came to a close with the loss to Alabama Wednesday night. Bright finishes her career with 100 3-point field goals (ranks third all-time at MU), a .327 3-point field goal percentage (ranks ninth) and 315 assists (ranks sixth). The Tigers posted a 67-52 mark during her four years and qualified for three consecutive postseason appearances.
