
Tiger Volleyball Sweep Baylor

The University of Missouri volleyball team improved to 23-6 on the year and 12-5 in the Big 12 Conference with a 3-0 (30-21, 30-24, 30-21) victory over Baylor on Wednesday. The Bears drop to 9-19 on the year and 2-15 in the Big 12.
The Tigers were led by Christi Myers who had 15 kills and a hitting percentage of .625. Mary Lauren Smith also recorded 15 kills for Mizzou. Lindsey Hunter had 44 assists for the Tigers and seven digs.
Juliana Godoi led MU in digs with 10 and Sara Parks added nine. Lindsey Noll has a career-high three solo blocks along with one block assist.
Missouri held the Bears to a .102 hitting percentage as it out-killed Baylor 53-35. MU also out-blocked Baylor 7-3.
The Tigers have three matches left in the regular season. Next up for Mizzou is its final road trip of the regular season as it takes on Kansas on Saturday. The Tigers will return home to close out the regular season with matches against Nebraska next Wednesday and Texas Tech on Nov. 30.
