COLLEGE STATION, TX -- Nick Wilfong singled with the bases-loaded in the 10th inning Saturday night to propel the Missouri Tigers to a 13-11 victory over the Texas A&M Aggies at Olsen Field.
The victory for the Tigers snapped a five-game losing streak.
Missouri led 11-10 after seven-and-a-half innings Friday night when the game was suspended due to a thunderstorm. When the game was resumed Saturday evening, MU closer Ryan Stegall took the mound. The Aggies got four hits in the eighth to tie the game, with Jeff Freeman driving in the run. The Aggies had the bases loaded when Joe O'Jibway bounced into a double play to end the threat.
Stegall settled down the rest of the way, retiring A&M's final six batters to improve his record to 3-1.
Jayce Tingler, Stegall and Landon Brandes each walked to start the 10th inning for the Tigers. Wilfong then singled to give Mizzou the lead and Mike Rallo followed with another RBI hit.
Dustin Barnes led the Tigers with three hits, while Tingler and Wilfong each had three RBI.
